Craig is full on in his training, and doing well! So well in fact, that he may get chosen for advanced training. Yay! However, that means he will not leave till after the first of the year. Not much after, but about a week later than otherwise. As it stands now, he will be leaving just before New Years. Which would put us at a winter wedding! I love winter weddings =o). That's all there is for now folks!

Well, Craig is officially leaving for training on Nov 8th. However, we are still unsure as to what date exactly he will be coming back. He has informed me, however, that he wants a spring wedding. This coming from the guy who has given me close to no input on anything wedding related LOL. I told him we should get married on St. Patrick's Day (It's on a Saturday in 2012) but I don't think that is going to happen. Maybe sometime in April though. I will have to look at the calendar and see. Either April, or February.

So. Craig is looking to go overseas (to help with wedding expenses among other things). We had planned on him leaving mid-September so that way the wedding at the end of October could still happen. However. He hasn't left yet. As of right now it's looking like he's not leaving till January-ish. Which means it'll be a year after that till we can get married. So maybe a February wedding? Which throws our fall colors and such out the window! So much for the black cat cake toppers! Although if we do a winter wedding the colors will probably be all kinds of blues, with a light silvery blue being the color of choice. So back to the drawing board. For just about everything. Except our photographer, which we haven't even booked yet as we don't even have a date. But assuming they are available when we DO have a date set we are booking them! For anyone who may read this, you should check out Continuum Photography! They are based out of Portland, OR, but they are destination wedding photographers. Meaning they like to travel! And if you read their FAQ they're pretty funny. That's what caught my attention. Anyone who can make me laugh that hard while reading a FAQ has to love what they do. But I also like their style, and while colors and places and dates may change, some things won't. Like the bride and groom, obviously, and the fact that I want them to document our day, and (more or less) who we want to invite. At any rate, Craig is still looking for something to go over sooner, so it *may* still happen in October, but probably not. Just wanted to let you peeps know!

So...as fun and exciting as a zombie wedding would be! It would also be pricey and very time consuming. So we are back to the autumnish theme with Halloween sprinkled in. We did decide however to do the zombie wedding for our vow renewals! 10-ish years maybe? woot! On a side note, I don't like my original dress anymore. I like the one in this picture now! But I'm not going to go out and buy any more dresses until it gets closer to time =o)

So....I contacted a photographer that I would LOVE to have at the wedding, and I noticed on their website that one of their dream shoots is a zombie wedding. I told Craig this, jokingly, and he jumped right on board. "a zombie wedding would be so awesome! do you know how much fun that would be? we should totally do it!".....So now we are thinking of a zombie wedding *insert eyeroll here*. The little girl in me still wants a white dress (or ivory, as the case may be) and such but maybe we could do a zombie rehearsal? That would be kind of fun!

So. We decided we're getting hitched! Craig says I change my mind a million times a day, which is so not true! just because I don't like my dress or the colors I picked yesterday doesn't mean I'm indecisive! Right now we are waiting to see when we can actually HAVE the wedding. His best friend, Adam, may be out to sea (think:Navy). Tentatively it's set for Oct 29, 2011. With our main color being orange, with some darkish red. and a liiiiittle bit of yellow. So fall colors basically.
